Pequot Library
Pequot Library was founded in 1889 by Elbert B. and Virginia Marquand Monroe, residents of Southport, Connecticut. Mrs. Monroe was the adopted daughter of successful Fairfield businessman Frederick Marquand. On his death, Marquand left his daughter his mansion in Southport and his fortune and out of these assets grew one of the most remarkable libraries in the country.

Fairfield Community Theater at Stage One
Fairfield Theatre Company (FTC) is a not-for-profit organization and integral to the culture of Fairfield County
Its theatre series has been augmented with numerous play readings, and workshops for children and adults. Each summer FTC has conducted its Summer Theatre Workshops teaching teamwork, acting, and improvisational skills to hundreds of area children.
