The Foo Fighters are rolling out their summer 2008 tour dates which include a performance at the Izod Center. The reviews of the American tour have been glowing; the New York Post called the Foos "one of the biggest and best bands in rock", and the Arizona Republic described their show as "impressive support for the argument that Foo Fighters are America's best rock band." The group recently expanded their career Grammy take to six, as the band won Best Rock Album and Best Hard Rock Performance this year.
In addition to the band's core foursome Dave Grohl, bassist Nate Mendel, drummer Taylor Hawkins and guitarist Chris Shiflett, this tour features Jessy Greene on strings, Drew Hester on percussion, Rami Jaffee on keyboards, and Pat Smear on guitar.
